“Fantastic service!”
Reviewed April 18, 2014

Best place to eat in the valley. Prices high due to remoteness, but service is excellent. We recommend avoiding the seafood- it is the desert, after all. Sandwiches and salads are good and breakfasts very good. Prices range from around $10 for breakfast to double that for dinner.

“Menu as expected, but great service”
Reviewed April 17, 2014

I was asked if I wanted to sit at the bar. The restaurant was only maybe 20% full. The bar? No, a table, please. Server was really great. Mine was a young man, but I watched all the servers (all male) and they all were very attentive, friendly, clean, and appropriate. Seemed like a great group of employees; good for the business. I had a salad, which had a wonderful homemade dressing and very nicely cooked chicken. I was hungry and the meal really hit the spot. Good prices, considering they are the only casual dining for miles and miles. Recommend stopping there, for a bite.

“Typical national park”
Reviewed April 17, 2014

Food was just fine. A bit pricey. We found the breakfast prices at the Inn were actually cheaper! But, the service was fine for the two meals we ate here, food fine and filling. We were satisfied.

“Excellent food, Rude employees”
Reviewed April 13, 2014 via mobile

All other eateries were closed at Furnace Creek, so we made the mistake of staying and eating at the saloon eatery. The food was very good, but very pricey. I can understand the higher then average prices, but the staff was clearly miserable. Not one employee welcomed us or offered to say us (10 ppl), we had to ask for menus and then even a server to get a drink. The employee behind the bar was far the worst. He was very rude when we asked for drinks and continued by telling us he knew nothing about the menu and "huffing" when we asked for anything. Sack a lunch and take it into the park with you. There is no excuse for this rude and poor service.

“Good food, bit pricey”
Reviewed April 11, 2014

Had the Chef salad, it was very big and filling. All very good. It was a bit pricey, but everything in DV is higher prices. One of our party had the scallops and they were very good.
