Worth stopping and a little walk. Learned a bit and got great views of the area. Some nice photos too. Easy walk to and from the parking lot

“Nice stop along the way.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 11, 2012

There are some old ruins to walk to and signs to read to tell you the history of this site. It was interesting and didn't take alot of time.

“Worth a trip”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 15, 2012 via mobile

This is an easily accessible site straight off the main road north of furnace creek. It really gives you an understanding of the difficult conditions labourers worked in when these sites were open. Definitely worth a look.

“Now I understand Borax”

Very accessible easy walk with very good preserved artifacts and very informative notice boards. Best explanation of how Borax was extracted, processed and transported.

“Great piece of history to learn about”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 21, 2012

This pull off area may be easy to pass up, but don't...very interesting with interpretive signs about the Borax works. Worth the time.
