“Interesting”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 11, 2012

This wasn't what we expected. It was just a drive through a canyon. There was no stopping along the way and no information to tell you what was what. I expected to see the old mine or something, if we didn't it wasn't obvious. Interesting drive, but would not visit again.

“Best seat is at the wheel”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 12, 2012

I really enjoyed driving this road just for the sake of driving ( a lot of turns, hills,...). If you don't have much time in Death Valley you can skip it, if you do, it is fun. Especially during summer when it is too hot outside to hike, this is a nice alternative in an airconditioned car....

“Can easily miss this one.”

Close to Furnace Creek but we didnt see anything other than the landscape - could do with much more context. I'm not convinced the mill trains used this track!

“Borax”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 18, 2012

Once a source of borax and known to most of us during the starting of the teams that moved west to live and find a new life. This exhibit and walk was interesting to see and read about.
