“OK for one night”

Basic lodging. Clean, older property with no frills. Several restaurants nearby, both fast food and sit-down. I considered it fair value for the price.

Had a couple of nights here to visit friends. Very clean motel. Rooms are old style motel with doors opening on to the car park but it was quiet at night. The staff were friendly and though the rooms were tired they were spotlessly clean. Convenient for walking out to a few chain restaurants and next door to a supermarket. Good value.

This hotel is dependable for accuracy of reservations, friendly staff, clean room with refrigerator and microwave. It's an older building but has all that's needed and is close to the Interstate, close to restaurants. It's my "go to" hotel when in the area.

We were looking for an inexpensive place to spend the night after being at Anna Maria Island. Couldn't beat the rate here. The room was basic, but very clean. Overall, this motel seemed well-cared for and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The continental breakfast was fairly basic, just coffee, orange juice, and packaged muffins and bagels in the office. We decided to go to the Waffle House in front of the motel, which had incredibly friendly and attentive waitresses.

Back to the motel....the bed and pillows were decently comfortable but not the best. The motel was quiet, which helped me sleep well. Also, there was a refrigerator and microwave in our room. Also, there was wireless internet that worked great. Overall, this is a great place to stay if you want basic accommodations at a great price.

Its right off 75 exit 220. Sits back behind a Waffle House and McDonalds..so you have to look careful for it. Turn in between the two above. Having those eating options just steps away is nice, although be careful where you step----(damn these people that dont pick up after their dogs!) Not the hotels fault....they dont allow pets...but you walk over some grassy dividers to get to McDonalds so watch out! Esp in the dark. I hit a big one..ugh!

But the hotel itself is fine and pleasant enough. My room had a bit of a musty oder.
Internet worked fine on check in and that evening but not in the morning. it probably just needed to be reset but gal didnt seem to know how.

Id stay there again though.

We knew going in not to expect the Grand Hyatt experience for $40/night (in the high travel season), but online reviews were generally positive -- and I concur.

Easy access to the I75, clean room, and right next door to a Waffle House. Rooms include a dorm-size fridge and microwave, as well as a "welcome" bag with snacks and cookies. The bed isn't the most comfortable you'll find but fairly typical at this level of hotel. Decent size room, bathroom fixtures seemed updated.

We decided to extend our stay by one night, and they automatically gave us the lower Internet rate for the extra night. No complaints, above average for this level of hotel. But yes, it's a budget hotel.

My husband and I recently arrived in Bradenton, FL via an Amtrak and Martz bus travel combo. While on the train, I researched possible places to stay for a few nights before moving on to long-term accommodations. Boy were we fortunate to find Econo Lodge East during a Google411 call on my cell. The staff was very friendly, the room was clean upon arrival and continued to stay that way with daily maid service, and the traveler's discount made the rates the lowest around. We enjoyed the generous continental breakfast and free USA Today newspaper each morning. Our request for extra pillows was filled rapidly and we even received extra towels without having to ask because the staff noticed our daily use of the pool. There is a Wal-mart, Sonny's BBQ, Cracker Barrel and more within walking distance. The grand total per night was only $40.10! If we need accommodations in the area again, we will definitely stay with Mike and his excellent team at the Econo Lodge East in Bradenton at the Traveler's Oasis near I-75!!
