I checked in on 9-26-12 and checked out on 10/2/12. First they charged me $1.07 each night for a safe that I did not use. Second the air conditioner quit working the afternoon of 09/30/12. I reported it to the office and was advised there was no maintenance on Sunday. I reported it again on Monday morning. I was advised by the general manager that it was a new air conditioner so they would have to call Amana to schedule a repair. They offered to move me but would not assist in helping me move my belongings. No adjustment was offered for my inconvenience. I did not move.
It would seem that Day’s Inn is now a crooked organization for applying unwarranted charges. To that end, I have filed complaints with the BBB, the Florida DBPR-Hotel Division, and the Consumer Affairs Division of the State of Florida Attorney General’s Office.
Additionally, I have issued instructions throughout our company that will prevent any employee from staying at any Days Inn, anywhere.
Hello Jerry, I am very sorry for the inconvenience during your last stay with our hotel. We want to prove you that we provide great service compared to what you had experienced. We tried to move you to a different room to fix the AC issue. The Safe Warranty charge is a standard charge as most of our guest loves to use that amenity. We would not have charged you for it if you would have mention that you didn't want to use it or at check out we remove that if mention the same.

We loved our stay here! We were there four nights and had no complaints. The room was clean, the staff was friendly, and we were close to everything. It was only a 20 min drive to the beach and right around the corner from anything you would need. The kids loved the pool. The ladies who cleaned our room were super friendly and did an excellent job! The room had a mini fridge and microwave which were a plus for us. We would definitely stay again.
