This is an excellent venue and addition to Bradenton. Something for everyone from the very young to the elderly. Even places to just relax and watch the world and river go by.

I am so glad that this area was developed into a place for all ages - and is even pet friendly. There really is something for everyone, although some areas are used more than others. It's a great place to walk, with benches and swings to relax if needed. The playground for the small children is well equipped. I am impressed with the planning, and have enjoyed each visit there.

My sisters & I enjoyed the Riverwalk in Bradenton before this years local seafood festival. It was nice weather and we really had a pleasant leisurely walk from start to finish. It was very beautiful with unique displays of art, childrens playgound & skate park. There is also a nice pier for fishing. I'm sure this location will be hosting many special events in the future. Nice dinning near by at the Yacht Sea Grill & Pier 22.

Downtown bradenton sparkles with this new addition. Large green spaces to lay a picnic and lots of seating along the path. Pls. Ahead, bring water and sunscree. it can be very hot and direct sun. Often fairly crowded with mixed ages and activities, keep this in mind and be watchful.for dog walkers, bikers, skaters, and runners all share the same narrow path. Beautiful on a cloudy or rainy day when the crowds are small and the wildlife comes out. Birds, turtles, fish maybe a manatee or two? Maybe...it is the manatee river.

For the most part it is one of our favorite places to relax however, there are many times when people have little or no respect for it. I have seen people trying to ruin it by defacing trees and kicking rocks into the river. Sometimes walkers have to compete with people on skateboards or bicycles. The walk is really not wide enough for this. Aside from these few annoyances it can really be a nice place to relax and unwind.
