Owner description: Legacy is an upscale, 18-hole championship daily fee course, unique from anything found in Southwest Florida. By offering value added, impeccable levels of service and conditioning it appeals to traveling golfers and locals alike. As an award-winning Arnold Palmer Signature Designed course, Legacy has earned its reputation as one of the premier layouts in the Southeast US. The course features elevated multiple tees and virtually every hole is framed with sand and water. Our unique course has generous landing areas and wide corridors, making the look very dramatic and visually challenging, while still approachable to all players.

Recently had the pleasure of playing Legacy Golf Course. It has one of the finest layouts in the area. A .lot of risk and reward shots. A real fun course to play. The course was in fine shape. Only drawback was that the course was aerated when we played Golfers should know this is a necessity to keep the course nice . You will find the staff friendly and accomodating. I would play there again and highly recommend you try this course.

One of the best layouts in the area. The greens are rolling true but a little slow. We have played the course several times in the last month, and have seen significant improvement to the greens. Staff was very pleasant and helpful.

I love this Arnold Palmer layout and was a must play course for years; HOWEVER the ownership of this course has destroyed the greens. They are not playable with 4 different grass types growing on the greens and large trenches in the greens not repaired. I was very sad to see the condition and in the first time I can recall had to stop play after 4 holes and go to ask for my money back. There are wonderful golf courses in the area and until the condition of this course is back to excellent do not waste your time or dollars, yes that means even if it is FREE it is not worth the trip as of now.

I have been playing this course every year during the 4th of July for the last 8 years. It used to be worth the 30 minute drive but now this is a complete waste. I am surprised Arnold still has his name associated with this course. The greens were so bad that we picked up after 4 holes and went to a different course to play. Not even worth the $35. They will say that they have recently aerated the greens but they forget to mention the 4 types of grass and the goffer the burrowed through the middle of some of the holes.

Legacy Golf Club used to be one of my go to courses in the area. While it has been some time...something must have happened. The course is just terrible! No, it's not a seasonal/maintenance thing.

In short...the tee boxes are weeds, the greens are in horrible horrible condition, the fairways look like a horrendous municipal course, the traps are either full of mud or just filled with hard pack shell.

Repeating...has nothing to do with routine maintenance....the place has just fallen apart.

With that said...the staff was nothing but nice...and obviously not their fault. Wondering if there is a serious financial issue.

Unfortunately you can't rebuild without revenue from players...but at same time the experience isn't worth the time and money. Maybe an investor is needed.

Regardless...for the time being, I do NOT recommend.
