We live in Bradenton and have made the trip to Robinson a number of times this year both to walk and to kayak. It is immediately adjacent to Tampa Bay and has very nice views of the Sunshine Bridge both from the shore and from the climbing tower. There are several walking and biking trails as well as winding walking bridges. I particularly like the kayaking as there are nice narrow rivers with little current and no waves, very easy paddling. Also onsite is a historical residence that was moved here up river from another location. I am not a bird watcher but I have heard it is a nice place to do this.
