Have eaten Selmon's food three times now, and while it's good it's mostly average and is a little overpriced for what you get.

The Citrus Glazed Salmon is one dish that stands out amongst what we've tried here. It is quite good. The dinner portion runs $15 but only comes with one side, and it's not a particularly large serving of salmon.

We've had two chicken dishes, and we found the chicken breasts to be on the noticeably puny side. Flavor is average, not remarkable. The Backyard BBQ Chicken dinner portion runs $13 for the "whole bistro", which is two puny half-breasts versus one; again, this only comes with one side.

The Training Platter is likewise not very impressive for the price, but it gives a sampling of the pulled pork, ribs, and chicken breast, and again only one side. This runs $20. The average person could probably polish off the whole dish with no problem. The pulled pork was my favorite of the three meats. I found the ribs very tender, but the sauce was a bit too rich and sickening sweet for my liking.

It sure doesn't help that they put these smallish portions on huge plates; it only accentuates how little you're actually getting for your money.

As side dishes go, if you like broccoli that's not really jazzed up but rather lightly flavored and cooked just to bright green perfection, theirs (as a side dish) is very good. In general, people rave about their cheese and bacon grits, but I didn't find it too exciting.

Service has been just fine. Employees are more friendly than the average restaurant employee. At the end of your meal you're given a warm, moist hand towel to freshen up with. Nice touch.

Overall, the food is good but generally nothing to write home about, and the prices should be dropped $1 to $2 or the serving sizes increased so you get your money's worth.
