My wife and I arrived at Citilites in the The Benjamin and Marian Schuster Performing Arts Center prior to The Jersey Boys show. Dayton often is a restaurant wasteland (near the The Benjamin and Marian Schuster Performing Arts Center.) Given the Ohio Ice storm, we choose not to visit the Oregon District and move the car.
We attend numerous performance at The Benjamin and Marian Schuster Performing Arts Center, and know that Citilites keeps "re-inventing itself. Currently the menu is fairly bland, but Citilites is so convenient. One stop parking for a meal and a show.
The outer "Wintergarden" finally has a temporary wall providing a barrier between diners and the lobby, but beware the Wintergarden" is noisy and drafty. We do prefer the small indoor restaurant.
The menu and meals are plebeian, but there is a full bar service. We do not care for any sort of alcohol prior to an event that costs several hundred dollars, but the bar does a brisk business.
We recommend Citilites for the convenience as well as for the superb and professional service. Citilites seems to have an avid clientele during events.
