WOW!!! So much to see. I went twice while i was in Dayton. Free admission. Great gift shop. Pre WWII section, WWII section was awesome. Cool fighters and bombers. When you enter the big hangar and see the flying fortress, it is Awesome and impressive. B1, B2, F111, A10, drones. A section of rockets that you can view from different levels. So much to see. Big planes outside. The best Air musuem in the US. Better than the Smithsonian for military planes.

You really cannot see it all in one day. A vast aviation museum. Three large hangars and an IMAX theater. WWI, WWII and vintage aircraft along with Stealth aircraft, spacecraft, and even the Memphis Belle. The best part...admission is free.

This was a stop on my Philadelphia-to-Fulton (Mo.) trip for my daughter's college graduation. I'm not an airplane guy (I was hitting almost every car museum along the way), but this was my favorite attraction. I got there when they opened and stayed until just before closing. I was awestruck. I came away with a much greater appreciation for the Air Force and all of its members. This is a must-see for anyone with even a passing interest in history, and I will definitely visit again.

A living memorial to flight, the beginning of the space age, the challenges, the celebrations, and the ongoing story of where the United States has been through war and peace, as well as all of the people who make this possible.
