“Great retreat”

My husband and I stayed during the blizard of "08" and the accomodations were awesome. Our best friends also booked a room at the same time so we basically had the whole place to ourselves. Jeff and Leslie were very nice and we felt a bit pampered. The Oregan District ( "the place to party in Dayton" ) was only 1/2 block up the road. Everything was within walking distance. The rooms were also very nice and clean. We will definately stay again ( just waiting for a little warmer weather ). I was very impressed.

A wonderful, relaxing getaway right in the heart of the Oregon District. The hospitality was great...we were treated like family! The atmosphere at Inn Port is conducive to relaxing! I can't wait to go back.

This Inn is lucky to have the BEST location in Dayton. So close to the Oregon district that you can see it from the front porch. The Oregon is Dayton Ohio's last thriving downtown neighborhood. An eclectic mix of shopping, restaurants and night life.

Staying at the Inn was very relaxing in a low key environment. It felt like renting the cutest little apartment in a great local, more than staying at a hotel. My advice is to pick up some of your favorite snacks at a local grocery on your way and make yourself at home. There was a fridge, sink and table in a small dining area. The microwave didn't really work, so don't count on that. Overall VERY clean and charming. Drawbacks are nominal, depending on the room you've rented you may have a shower OR a bath, not both. Also the water is warm and never really got hot for us. I assume this is due to the time of year and the age of the building. Also, being a large old house... it's a little intimidating to stay alone as you will no doubt hear the occasional bump in the night :) The owners make you feel like family, checking in only once in the morning to ensure you have enough to eat and all was well. Also available by phone at anytime as they reside near by. For a charming and unique place to stay, you won't find a nicer spot in Dayton!

This place was great. Breakfast was delicious and hit the spot. There were plenty of restaurants and attractions close by, within walking distance. The wine was tasty and the room was very cozy and comfortable. We would recommend the Inn Port to anyone and everyone.

We were back in Dayton recently for the funeral of a family member. We wanted something cozy and friendly without that hotel feel during this tough time. The Champagne Suite at the Inn Port Guesthouse was just what we were looking for. It had the right accomodations with a well stocked kitchen including all kinds of goodies for breakfast or snacking. The Inn keepers were extremely attentive although we hardly saw them. We knew there were there for us 24/7. The area around the Inn has great shops and restaurants and is easy to get to any area surrounding Dayton. I would reccomend it highly to anyone who asks!!!

The Inn Port is a great place to stay as it is in walking distance to many restaurants, and there is plenty of room to unwind, and just relax. We stayed in the Carribean Villa and My kids enjoyed the sky chairs, games, and the hot cinnamon rolls that Leslie served as part of breakfast. We are looking forward to our stay there next year when our daughter plays in the Mead Cup soccer tournament.

Beautiful old house, literally steps away from the Oregon District's main street and all of its many entertainment options. We stayed in the Friuli suite, and it has been a long time since I slept that well! We did not travel very far (only from Cincinnati) but were in town volunteering at a festival and thought we could make a mini-break of it. We are very glad we did. Spacious room with a small sitting area and completely private bath with a Jacuzzi tub plenty big enough for two. Very relaxing. Would stay there again.
