Good food, good service.
We had had a long day driving from Hershey PA to Dayton and we were looking forward to a nice relaxing meal. We got here a little late, the restaurant was starting to empty out and we were the only table seated outside. The waiter was just attentive enough so we didn't feel abandoned but didn't feel like he was hovering or rushing us.
The food was good - reasonable portions. The menu offered a good selection and lets you mix and match as well.

The service was good, and so was the food. The food cam fairly fast and was still hot. This was our first time at Abuelos and we would go back.

We visited Abuelos for a reunion of old co-workers on a Friday at 11:30am. Getting there with the lunch crowd was a challenge and i figured i would have to walk quite a way once i got to the parking lot. Nope--two spots in the front row and more nearby. Hmmm?

Anyway, the food way so-so, nothing special, chips were largely without any taste, chicken in my taco was either leftovers or had been on the grill way too long. It was tough and dry. The service was slow and getting a bill seemed even slower and i had to get back to work. During the nearly 1 1/2 hours there, the restaurant never got busy. This was interesting since i visited shortly after it opened a few years back and it was always packed.

I usually return to restaurants for one of several reasons--good food, good prices, fast service, etc. sorry, none applied today. I recall seeing two waiters and no one at the front to greet visitors. It felt like this ship was going down. There are several good restaurants nearby; i'd recommend going there.
