“I'm a Country Inns girl!”
Reviewed May 18, 2008

My family and I had two side-by-side rooms here May 15-17, 2008. The front desk help was fabulous, and the entry was very nicely decorated and very clean.

Our rooms were very clean with wonderful beds and great pillows. The room my husband and I were in had an odd odor in the bathroom so I asked the cleaning lady (who was just finishing another room) to check it out. She agreed it was odd, and came in with another cleaning lady and they re-scrubbed the entire bathroom. Then, they said to let them know if the odor returned. It did not.

No whirlpool tub but the pool is a therapeutic 88 degrees and if super. The sauna is nice too.

Breakfast was great. A gal to help you if you need it, and kept the tables spotless between guests. Lots of tables, too. Waffle machine to make waffles, sausage, biscuits, egg omelets, hard boiled eggs, fresh fruit, yogurt, sweet rolls, bagels, toast, English muffins, dry cereals, coffee, tea, hot cocoa and juices. The entire area was spotless and well maintained and supplied.

We will DEFINITELY stay here again!! The rooms had a microwave and refrigerator, and a huge desk.

This hotel appears to be brand new!!! We had a spotlessly clean and very spacious room in a very safe area with lots of newer restaurants and stores. It was extremely convenient to the interstate highway. The pool was also extremely clean and was nearly as warm as bathwater. It was also surprisingly deep on the shallow end at 3'6" which made it a little hard for my 8 year old to stand with her head above water, though they did have a nice ledge running around the entire edge that she could stand on. The breakfast was pretty standard with the waffle maker and regular cold items and was very well run and fresh. Staff very friendly. We found this a GREAT place to stay on our road trip and a great value at $75!!! Highly recommended! (By the way, for you ice cream fans out there -- one of the best places in the country is Graeters and there is one only about 2 miles from this hotel.)

Room was very clean upon arrival & housekeeping did a wonderful job of keeping it clean. Our family of 4 needed a place to stay while enjoying Kings Island & The Beach Waterpark. We were pleased with the size of the room & the continental breakfast had a great assortment. Our children have to have a pool at any hotel we stay in, and although the pool was small, we were the only people using it, so it really didn't matter. Great place to stay.

We stayed here one night on our way to see the Airforce museum. Its a few miles away. The hotel was very quiet and clean. The breakfast was nice. No complaints. One thing that was different from your typical hotel is the ceilings were nice and high. The pool is fine for a quick dip.

In town for four days for a business trip, so I searched a bit and turned up this hotel. It seems really new (maybe 1-2 years old max). It's very clean, and the rooms seem to be furnished with the business traveler in mind. Free wired Internet access in the rooms (and WIFI in some of the rooms...they told me it was only the central part of the building and a few specific conference rooms and whatnot on the north side of the hotel, but my room on the south side of the hotel gets a nice strong signal). An expansive desk is built into the wall opposite the bed, at just the right height for using a laptop and with lots of storage for clothes, papers, etc. A microwave, refrigerator, iron, ironing board, and hairdryer in every room. This is probably standard these days for a hotel in this class, but they sure are handy to have easy access to.

Every employee I've interacted with at the front desk has been kind, courteous, friendly, and helpful. It's just what every hotel experience should be.

They have a large breakfast area with a decent continental breakfast served every morning. On top of that, there are numerous extremely good restaurants nearby. There are, of course, the usual fast food restaurants nearby as well.

It's a few miles away from WPAFB, sure, but the benefit of that is that it's completely out of the flight path of anything that might be landing or taking off there. It's close enough that rush hour heading toward the base in the morning and away from the base in the afternoon is extremely tolerable. Plus, if you're into shopping, it's within a short driving distance of two different large malls. So, it's a handy location if you ask me.

To top all of that, the price can't be beat. I'm paying only $62 per night for a three-night stay. My only requirements when searching were a low price and free WIFI, and this hotel matched both of those criteria with ease.

All in all, I'll definitely be back. Barring any unexpected price increases, this will be my hotel of choice when staying in the Dayton area for any business, and I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone.
