Room 204 was a lovey room but those even numbered rooms are on the road side of the hotel and it was very noisy the during the whole night we stayed there. The staff was very attentive and nice and the breakfast was good.

We were in town for a wedding at The Steamplant and this was the perfect location. Very clean and new. Located in an area where there's lots to do ( minor league baseball just across the street) plenty of restaurants and a nice parking facility for guests. They do keep the hotel very good, had to put the heat on in our room in August. They weren't able to adjust heat though out the hotel because they didn't have a maintenance person on duty. If I was there for an event,I would have needed a coat. Only one person at the front desk that we encountered was not friendly and let us know she was not enthused about being there to work at all, when we engaged in small talk. I would definitely stay here again.

Thank you for your review. We are glad you had a great experience. It is unusual to have to turn on the heat in August. We have addressed the issue with the public space and keeping at a more comfortable, our guests comfort is our goal. Also, we apologize for our front desk remarks this will be shared and addressed.
We appreciate you staying with us and hope to see you again, when you are in the area.

This hotel just opened late in 2018 -- it's still very clean and fresh. Staff was very friendly. This Fairfield has a full bar service with nice happy hour (6-8 pm) specials. Location is terrific if you want to enjoy the downtown restaurants / bars / pubs. We walked down to Oregon District each night -- about a 15 min easy way. The river is only a block away.

My visit was for work related training. The hotel and location is like taking a tour through the wonka factory, new adventures and surprises around every corner and all are with in walking distance. The staff treated my disabled girlfriend like one of their own and went out of their way to make her feel welcomed. We needed an accessible room for her. The amenities were a 4.8 out of 5. Most bathrooms rooms were fitted with grab bars for easy access. The river and city was accessible for all visitors. Thanks to staff, our visits were exceptional. But I have to agree with quackmar, you could hear the activites from the rooms on both sides. The rooms facing Riverview Ave are adjacent to a fire station and are a little more noisy, otherwise the stay was great.

Room tip: Most bathrooms rooms were fitted with grab bars for easy access. The river and city was accessible for all visitors.

We stayed here for three nights when our daughter got married in Dayton. The hotel is new and in a good location. Overall it was what I expected for a Fairfield Inn.

We had a suite which was reasonably large and pretty nice. It didn’t cost much more than a regular room and was a good value. A fairly standard breakfast is included in the room rate. The breakfast is well organized as there are several food stations so it doesn’t get as crowded as some hotel breakfasts.

We reserved a large block of rooms here for the wedding due to its proximity to the reception. Overall it worked out well for the wedding. The hotel was great to work with regarding the reservation process and guests were happy with their rooms.

We had a few issues with the front desk. They were supposed to give out one gift bag per room but gave out one per guest so we didn’t have enough for everyone. They were also difficult to deal with when I tried to get 2 or 3 rooms near each other. They made a point of telling me that they book lots of weddings and were fully sold out - they gave me the clear impression that we should feel lucky to be there. Eventually, though, we got a few rooms together.

Overall I was reasonably happy with the hotel. I would probably stay here again if I were staying in downtown Dayton.
