A group of 5, very few other patrons. Wait staff was pleasant enough, but there was a long wait for everything, even to get a refill on water. They had no pitchers, so our glasses were taken
away from the table each time they were refilled. We had an oyster appetizer, but when we asked for crackers they were out. A seafood restaurant in south Georgia out of saltines? Please! Send someone to the store!

The seafood was served hot and tasty, but all sides, including baked potato were served at room temperature. One of the group ordered garlic bread that was (no exaggeration) brought to the table as we finished our meal. We just laughed and ate it for dessert.

On the upside it would be a nice place if you want to sit and talk for a long time and don't mind the oddities above, but if you need quick service go somplace else. Cost was about $ 120 (we did not have alcohol)

Beer was room temperature, food was bland. The waitress was nice to us but anyone that had a question or a complaint she seemed to be extremely rude to. The restaraunt was out of a few things we requested.

Stopped here enroute to Florida for dinner on 30 Jan 2013. This was a great find! It sits on the river and has great atmosphere. It is located in a very large old historic building that includes a martini bar and a hotel. We had the blackened shrimp and the Grouper Dungeness. Both meals were fantastic. The Grouper was prepared to a turn and was served with a sauce (can’t remember the name, but really good). It was the best fish I have tasted in a long while. The blackened shrimp were not unique, but very good. Our waiter, Chad was very personable and, in fact, suggested the Grouper. He was attentive but not overbearing. All the fish is caught locally and you can tell it is fresh. Take a minute to check out the décor; especially the curio cabinet. Great value for price; The main course, two sides and a salad for $18.00.

Nice friendly service and good food. The dinning area has a nice picture window that faces the marina. The town Christmas treet could been seen also and was beautiful. We went twice we like it so much.

A group of us had dinner at Seagle's two nights in a row when we rode down to take the tour of Cumberland Island, which we highly recommend. Both nights were terrific, thanks in part to our great server, Chad, who did a great job keeping us supplied with food, drink and laughs. The food was pretty good, actually. The first night we all shared a variety of appetizers - fried calamari, fried pickles and more - all washed down with whole bottles of wine for just $9, normally what you'd pay for a glass somewhere else. The crab bisque was excellent. The mussels, complimented appropriately with some french (actually Belgium) fries, were fat and delicious. I had shrimp and grits with andouille sausage. Pretty good. The plain old shrimp, fried or grilled, were terrific. No rock shrimp. No dessert. No problem. The second night we checked out a couple of other local places within walking distance of our hotel (Goodbread Inn), but none looked as appealing as Seagle's. Besides, I needed another round of moules et frites. All of us agreed that we'd go back in a heartbeat.
