Description: The Blue Goose is your kick back have a glass of wine kind of place. We offer a variety of fresh menu items through out the day. All fresh, nothing fried ... We carry local and imported wines and a fairly extensive variety of craft beers. We've got a dog bowl for your furry friend and sidewalk chalk for the kids. Perfect place to slow down and watch the world go by.

After returning from Cumberland Island my wife & I explored little St. Mary's GA. We came across this little coffee shop/wine bar. The staff were young, energetic, and exceedingly friendly folks. The shop is in an old house and you can wander among the rooms and sit where you like. We had a couple of cups of coffee and split an amazing chocolate brownie. This is a really cool little place & we're glad we found it.

I wrote a review of the Blue Goose last year but am writing another now because they have made so many improvements and additions that it really is a different place. Since last year they have added a wonderful full-time chef, standardized their menu offerings, and greatly expanded the food options in addition to keeping their fantastic selection of coffee, tea, and wine. The service is very good and if you're a new visitor to St. Marys the staff can be a great source of local knowledge and tips for your stay.

We visited several times on our most recent trip and found the Goose to be a great place to stop in for appetizers before going to dinner (fantastic cheese tray!) or for a really good dessert after dinner. They also have a great selection of coffees, snacks, and other gourmet items to purchase and take with you. If you're in St. Marys stop in at the Goose and enjoy some time with great people.

I was down from Atlanta for a visit to Cumberland Island. On arrival at the Spencer House Inn Mary recommended the Blue Goose as a great place for coffee, wine and food. On Saturday night, after dinner at Lang's, we stopped by for coffee. First, the Blue Goose has an eclectic style that is different but very inviting... it works! Second, the service is great. Third, the people are friendly. I highly recommend stopping by the Blue Goose when you're in St. Mary's. Make this part of your visit to Cumberland Island.

We were given a coupon by Mary at Spencer House; however, we enjoyed the craft beer selection, sangria and appetizers. A fun way to slow down and get ready for our adventure on the Island.

We stayed in St. Mary's for several weeks and began each day with a walk to the Blue Goose. Lovely place, lovely staff, great spot to just relax!
