“Lite dinner with wine at a reasonable price”
Reviewed January 25, 2013

Only a few tables, so we heard others' conversations, but it was comfortable and cozy. They were willing to make small substitutions to meet our tastes, and everything from salad to sandwich to dessert was delicious. Healthier eating with many choices. Would have gone back again if we had stayed in St. Marys another night.

“Great place to relax and enjoy a drink”
Reviewed January 13, 2013

My husband and I purchased a groupon to The Blue Goose so we used it last night and was pleasantly suprised. We went for coffee and dessert and enjoyed them both. The service was good and enjoyed the laid back feel. We will be back !!

“Im Confused?”
Reviewed January 6, 2013

My wife and I made the trip to Saint Mary’s to check out the ferry schedule to Cumberland and check out the local restaurants. As a added note- Sundays are really quiet and many of the shops etc are closed. The Blue Goose popped up as a lunch option – and they were open. The confusing part is although we did have lunch, its hard to tell what this place really is. Gift shop, bar, restaurant?? The seating is very awkward - scattered throughout the building , few areas along side and there also seemed to be a table out front as well. We were greeted for lunch by a very nice young lady- but she seemed to be a bit uncomfortable as a server. Lunch was at best okay-

Just stopped in for a coffee, but wish we would have had a lunch or dinner here. Cute shop and very nice staff.

“Nice Discovery”
Reviewed December 15, 2012

We stopped in St. Mary's to go to the Cumberland Island Museum that happens to be across the street from this restaurant. (See separate review) We were aware of the The Blue Goose, but had never stopped on any of our earlier trips to town. Sunday lunch sandwiches were very good and well beyond ordinary. Service was pleasant and quick. The atmosphere is a not going to be to everyones taste, but we found it very relaxing. Gift shop and wine store accompany the property. We'll go back again.
