Location is great! Right across the street from where you get on the ferry for Cumberland Island. A couple of cats and a dog roam the place. I did have to ask for towels several times and our room was only cleaned one or twice. The day before we left when we got back they hadn't been there and there was still dirty towels on the floor in the bathroom? The rooms were small but the air conditioner worked very well! The breakfast was good. They had bagels, fresh fruit, coffee and juice. If you wanted anything else, there are plenty of places to go, but this was good to grab and go about whatever you wanted to do for the day.
The food at Seagles, their restaurant was good. Dinner was better than lunch. The bar, was wonderful! Very quaint and my husband and I fell in love with the bartender Cindy, she goes by the Queen and will not put up with anything!! She was very funny, knew her drinks and was more than willing to talk and laugh with you! I even got a picture with her!! She was the BEST!! Every place on the walls were covered in old signs with funny and wise cracking sayings on them. Even if you don't stay at the hotel, go to the bar!More
