We stayed two nights in the well located Comfort Suites in Fruita, Colorado, in order to hike in Colorado National Monument. The hotel itself and particularly our room had a strange odor. Our room was out of toilet paper when we checked in. There is a feeling that the hotel is old but has been mostly remodeled.

Breakfast had limited seating (about 20 people max?), comprised of cold food (no hot eggs or anything or that sort, except waffles). The breakfast room was quite a bit more crowded than breakfasts we're accustomed to at this level and cost of hotel.

The front desk was quite helpful, and the pool and hot tub were operational and clean. There is a Mexican restaurant next door we found to be quite good as well.

For the cost, I think we will probably look around to try find a different hotel the next time we stay in Fruita.

Great night sleep after visiting Colorado Monument National Park. Indoor pool/hot tub hit the spot as did a cold drink on the adjoining patio. The coin operated washer/dryers came in handy. The breakfast room could be better but had the usual cereal, toast, bagels, waffles, coffee and juice. A good nights stay with no complaints.

We chose this motel since we had stayed here several years before and liked it. Well our stay was like night and day. When we arrived a little before midnight there was 1 parking spot left behind the motel that we got. I'm not sure where the two cars that pulled in right behind us parked. In the morning, there was no hot water. When I complained at the front desk she said "well I guess everyone decided to take their showers at the same time!" Breakfast was bad too. The food choices were limited. We got hard boiled eggs that upon cracking open turned out not to be hard boiled and we had to throw them out. There were no chairs in the eating area, and there was a group of people waiting to eat. I think there were maybe 6-8 tables total. All in all, a disappointing stay and we will not come back here next time we pass this way.

Clean, very conveniently located just off I-70, and comes with a nice breakfast for a good price.

We've stayed at this hotel 4 times now. All of our stays have been very good. The hotel is clean, reasonably priced, convenient to mountain biking in Loma and Fruita's 18 Rd and hiking in Colorado National Monument, nice pool/hot tub.
We stayed 2 nights this past weekend. The first night we were put in a room under the stairs and it was very noisey. The front desk relocated us for our 2nd night and we all got a much better night of sleep. Thanks!
I would absolutely recommend this hotel!

Stayed here after a long day of travel with my family. Checked in late (about midnight) and staff was nice, room was clean and things were great. About 5:30 am the doors started slamming. Turns out we were in a room right by the exit door at the end of the hallway and the stairs with tile floor on the entry. Every time someone tromped down the stairs we could hear it, as well as the clunk clunk clunk of the suitcase wheels in the grout lines of the tile. All that followed by the slamming on the door. By 6:30 am we could here the people in the room next door showering and talking, as well as everyone walking down the hallway. When we checked out I asked the front desk if the hotel was full the night before and was told they were about half full. When asked why we were put at the end of the hall by the stairs and the exit door she didn't respond and only offered her apologies. Another gentleman was checking out at the same time and made a comment that the hotel was noisy the day/night before as well. I guess it goes to show that every time you check into a hotel you need to ask for a room away from the ice machine, laundry room, exit doors, and staircases, because the front desk clerks don't have enough common sense to fill the rooms away from those things first.
