this IS the local pub... with local food and local history (the birth of America's freedom) and local hospitality... you may find yourself in a booth or on a bar stool sitting along side friends you just met or ordering take out and enjoying a romantic evening on the beach... nothing's fancy or new but the names carved in the walls from years back and the amazing food and the speciality dishes (local stripped bass from the Bay and oysters and soft shelled crabs) make this Pub one of our favorites... the staff is attentive and responsive... and the prices are reasonable...

I don't know what was better. The food, the service or the people I met while there. All rated a 10. This place was so good, it was referred to me by a lady who worked at another restaurant up the road. View-spectacular! Looking right out to the beach at the boats. Big local beer in a mason jar, Blackened Ahi was cooked to perfection. Steamed mussles were sooo fresh. We also had the catch of the day as a sandwich and it melted in your mouth. Service was super. Will gladly go back.

Looking for lunch and immediately thought of the Pub! It's a great to people watch on the beach and inside. Friendly staff and good service. The shrimp po'boy was great! The lobster roll was...adequate. A little disappointing there. The beer was ice cold, which was a good thing with 90s outside! Pick your times because the lines form quick. We'll be back!

We were down in Yorktown and stopped in for lunch. It was a Saturday in July and they were packed. We only had to wait about 15 minutes and got a seat.

Our waitress was awesome. We had our kids(12 and 15) with us. It was hot outside, so we were not in for a heavy meal. We split an appetizer and 2 entrees. They food was great and the beer was cold.

We were also able to get a spot right in front, which was amazing. It is more of a biker bar type atmosphere, but if we are in the area again we would stop in, at least for a cold one.

Have fun at the pub. My wife and I ate the flounder n chips on a Friday evening. I thought it was a little overcooked and dry, but my wife loved it. The atmosphere was sporting and friendly. The service was first rate.
