Don't skimp as you will get what you pay for in this area. If you want decent, clean accomodations this is the place. Short walking distance to Texas Roadhouse and a mexican restaurant and quiet, clean rooms to stay in. Lots of garbage hotels around that may be cheap but you will regret it!

This is decent Courtyard. Rooms appeared to be recently refurbished - although the area around the tub did not appear to participate fully in the rehab.Furniture was in good shape. Bed was comfortable. Exterior property is not particularly appealing – tightly wedged in between two restaurants (Lone Star and Ruby Tuesday) – but that made for a very short walk to dinner. There was also a Mexican place right across the street. Employees were pleasant and helpful. I’m not familiar with the area to know about alternate hotel choices, but this was not a bad choice. I’d return. My first try though would be to get into the nearby Marriott at per diem – unable to arrange that this time.

Room Tip: You can overlook Ruby Tuesdays or overlook the Lone Star Stakehouse - take your pick. Further from t...

We selected this property for no other reason than it was minutes from family we were visiting in the area. It was very good as it suited out needs perfectly. We noticed that it used by a number of families and in-transit military. Our room was clean and had a comfortable Marriott king bed. It had a microwave and mini frig that we did not use. The informal bistro provided the light breakfast we needed to get us started. They must have been booked as we were assigned a handicap room, an ordinary room with extra grab rails in the tub-shower and a commode that was a few inches taller than most. What pleased us with the friendly professional staff . . . you know, good old southern hospitality. We would call it an economically priced, no-surprises place to stay. A stark contrast to the luxury Trump Int'l on Central Park we stayed at in NYC a month before, and each provided that same good night's sleep. The CY at much, much lower price.

We used this property as our home base for 2 nights while visiting Williamsburg. Location was about 20 mins from the park. I like having options to eat walkable from the hotel. Supermarket is also just on other side of highway which was great also. Room was very clean and comfortable. Property was quiet and overall would stay here again when coming back to the area.

We've been staying at this marriott for at least 10 years. It's a very welcoming place, quiet, well maintained and meeting the standard we expect of a marriott courtyard. It's in a park like setting located close to numerous restaurants and a very nice shopping area. Movie theaters nearby and an indoor pool make this an attractive place for families.

My wife and I had the opportunity to visit the east coast (being from California) and visited Yorktown and other sites. We choose to stay in Yorktown as it was centrally located to the sites we were to visit. This hotel was ideal. From the cheery welcome by the staff to the friendly last day, we enjoyed the hotel to the highest. The Bistro was fun and entering. The pool was ideal (if not a little bit over crowded) and the rooms were very comfortable, clean and spacious. We will definitely return for another stay.
