“Worth the visit and time to enjoy the area.”

City of Rocks was recommended to us by one of the friends we were visiting. We were coming from Burley and we loved the drive to the National Reserve almost as being in the reserve. We loved driving around and exploring the different rock formations. The scenery is beautiful and the rocks are unbelievable. The campsites also look amazing.

We wish we would have come slightly more prepared. There is so much hiking and different things to see.

I would love to go back and spend some time camping and hiking and exploring even more. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

“Interesting and fun”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 3, 2013

These are odd rock formations dating back over millions of years. It is very scenic and was a stop over for the people migrating West. We toured in our car and did some walking to see the sights. You can also see the wagon ruts from the covered wagons.

“Oh Darn! We Will Have to Come Back”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 6, 2013

We did not allow enough time to thoroughly enjoy the natural beauty of City of Rocks. We did a drive through on the automobile tour (available on the web site) and were able to get a feel for the park. We will be back to spend some time hiking the many trails available here. We did a few short hikes and they were wonderful

We had a great time hiking and scrambling up the rocks. This place is both very scenic and has great hiking, rock climbing and camping options.

“Completely worth visiting!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 29, 2013 via mobile

We have gone to City of Rocks 3 times and enjoyed each trip. The camping was great, lots of easy to intermediate hikes and tons of climbing! There is a natural spring with a pump so there is plenty of water and it's ice cold and delicious.. We bring 5 gallon jugs to bring home!! Reserve campsites online early as the weekends book fast.
