“Great history”
Reviewed January 11, 2014

The set up is amazing. This place has so much to see and do that I highly recommend you plan to spend at least a couple of hours to take in the whole place. There are a lot of hands on activities and so much to take in both indoors and outdoors. It is a great way to take in the history and culture. Everyone working there was rally nice and informative. Children would especially enjoy this and learn a lot.

“This Is Great For American History Buffs”
Reviewed January 2, 2014

My wife and a friend of ours visited the Cultural Center and found a "real Gem" in the little Arbuckle Mountain town of Sulphur, OK. They have a museum that we could have spent the entire day viewing. The Chickasaw Tribe was very intelligent and innovative in learning how to adapt to the areas they were moved to by the US Government. The museum has many of their tools they made to use in their day to day life, along with some of their clothes, both which could be described as made by craftsmen. They charge only a nominal fee to see the Cultural Center and all the staff were very helpful and friendly. They were eager to answer and very knowledgeable about the subject matter. We arrived after noon and needed at least one entire day to see it. We intend to return to spend the entire day.

“Great Facility. Lots to see and learn”
Reviewed January 1, 2014

There was so much to see and learn. We spent several hours and it wasn't enough time to really absorb it all. It's a great way to learn more about the Chickasaw Indian culture. The grounds and buildings are absolutely worth the time to walk around look at all the details.

This place is great to visit. You get to learn about the Chickasaw history and culture. The property is beautiful. It has grown so much since it first opened. They also have a café where you can try some of the traditional Chickasaw dishes. The staff are every friendly and knowledgeable.
