Corrales is consistently the best burrito in a burrito-oriented town. I prefer the Santa Cruz location-- a little more savory and a little faster in the prep. The difficulty is choosing between their incredible breakfast burritos (chorizo rated tops) and the regular burritos. Took me a long time to discover what the menu means by "two-way" and "three-way" and "four-way." (The "ways" are rice, beans, cheese, meat.) You know it's a great burrito spot when a simple bean and cheese burrito with pico de gallo totally rocks.
I always request sliced avocado instead of guacamole because it doesn't get lost in all the delicious chaos.
Locals call it "Corral-eeze" (ugh!) but the owners don't-- it's "Corral-ess."
