Very nice hotel, with private balconies right on the harbor. Ten minutes after we arrived in our room, the front desk called to see if everything was okay. The staff was very helpful and friendly.
The morning breakfast was a real treat, with cooked egg dishes, bacon, sausage, that you never see in other hotels. It is very rare to get anything other than a Continental Breakfast, which never includes any sort of protein food. Thank you, Holiday Inn!
The beds were super comfortable, and had 4 large pillows per queen bed. In fact, the mattresses were so thick, it was difficult for me, 4 foot 11 inches, to climb onto the bed. I wish I had brought a foot stool.
The only thing that pretty much disgusted me was that after I walked barefoot for 10 minutes in the room, my feet were totally black! The carpeting is dark, so you can’t see how filthy it is. I wore slippers while in the room for the remainder of my stay. This is something that housekeeping should really address, and I’m very sorry that it’s taken me almost a year to post this review. I hope they have better housekeeping practices, now.More
