Only had a quick visit to the Barrelhouse, but the fish & chips (appetizer) was great, the beers I had were super and the atmosphere was pretty good.

I love the selection of beers but they need to work on the food and service. Sliders were dry, steak salad was good even though we asked for medium and the steak was brought well done. We sat ourselves, not sure if there's a hostess working there.

I had heard such great things about the beer so I decided to try this place out. My twin brother and I celebrated our birthdays this past Wednesday. The only good thing about this place is the beer. There were about 25 of us and even after making reservations 2 days prior, my group had to stand around for a good 20 min until the room was set up. When we finally were seated, we placed our orders for the beer and food. The beer list is great. There is a lot of variety to choose from. I made it a point to have several samplers so I could taste a bit of everything.

Once the food arrived, my group was very excited but very disappointed. There was a range of food ordered and no one seemed to like what he/she ordered. Both of my brothers ordered burgers-one a salmon burger, the other a basic hamburger. Other friends of mine ordered sandwiches such as grilled cheese, veggie portobello and tri-tip. From everyone's comments it seems to be the same consensus, the food is bland, not seasoned and for the burgers, over cooked to the point that the texture was that of beef jerkey.

The server Tiffany was ok. My only problem was that she messed up on our receipts and we had to ask her to remove some items that we were charged for, specifically beer. Other than that, the beer is great but eat before or after having a few drinks.

We were there for the opening weekend. The restaurant was really busy and the staff did a great job taking care of the guests.

Barrelhouse has 100 beers on tap. They offer a wide variety so there is something for everyone. They also have a couple of different types of wine & martinis.

Great food with some very interesting flavor combinations. It not your typical bar food, it's more like gourmet food. The bread that they use for the sandwiches is terrific. It is fresh baked and really delicious. The grilled cheese sandwich was really good. The cheese dip with pretzel bread was really good too.

The staff is very friendly, especially the owner Joby and bartender Scott.

The atmosphere is fun and very comfortable.

I am looking forward to going back.
