“What a surprise”
Reviewed April 8, 2013

We have low expectations for mall food, so this was a surprise. We had a great salad and sandwich. The menu looks great. We'll be back.

“Good Vegetarian Options”
Reviewed March 18, 2013

Have eaten here twice now, so far, not been disappointed with the food. Love that they have many options for a vegetarian and food always tastes fresh. Customer service needs some work though. My favorite menu option is the ....

Open-Face Vegetarian on ciabatta-
grilled eggplant, portobello mushroom, zucchini, yellow squash, asparagus, roasted roma tomato, roasted red pepper, caramelized onions with herbed goat cheese spread – topped with lightly dressed arugula

“The high art of mediocrity”
Reviewed March 16, 2013

Not every restaurant is destined to be great, or memorable. Still, you can count on them like a comfortable shoe to fit every time and do it's job. The Greenery is like that. The food isn't bad, the service isn't bad, and the decor isn't bad (it is inside a shopping mall, after all). The prices are fair. But none of it is memorable. That shouldn't count against it though. But if you are in El Paso for only a short time and want to remember your meal, eat somewhere else. This place is best enjoyed by local long-married couples who reminisce about their high school days after their own kids have grown up. But your meal will be tasty and filling!

“Stay away!! Food poisoning!!”
Reviewed February 22, 2013 via mobile

I will never return to this place ever again!! My 14 month old and I ate here and had the chicken noodle soup and are now both super sick with food poisoning. The service is good and the place is nice but not worth it if their food is contaminated. It breaks my heart that she is so sick. I will call and gripe out their managers in the morning. Stay away from the soup!!

“Quite good”
Reviewed January 9, 2013

The gourmet shop is quite well stocked with some pretty good products-cheeses, meats, dry pastas, breads and pastries( no gluten free options are available ).
The restaurant , right next door, has very little ambiance or character but it does have a very extensive menu. The Bakka Ranch burger is very good( lean meat, all natural with no hormones) & the French onion soup is good. The Spinach salad was good but nothing special. My husband's first order of French Dip could not be served because the restaurant did not have any ciabatta. The restaurant also had no baguette. Odd for a restaurant that has a gourmet shop right next door that sells breads!
The choices for a vegetarian are very limited and there are absolutely no gluten free choices.
All in all, quite good but nothing special & it is not cheap.
