This was an extremely good conclusion to a 4-day out-of-state journey that involved airplanes, airports, a rental car, poor memory of diagonal roads, and families. Souper Salad on the Eastside of El Paso was just the right touch to not over-eat yet come away feeling full. The varied salad bar earned several trips, as did the soup bar (clam chowder is always a fav with me, but the pumpkin was pretty darn good, too!), and I for sure enjoyed the soft-frozen vanilla ice cream topped with caramel/peanuts/sunflower seeds/raisins/strawberries/whipped cream. I could have had cake, too, or tacos, or baked potatoes, or multiple breads, but....! Anyway, it was not too crowded--we arrived rather late--and the all of the food was quite fresh and tasty. I COULD have overeaten at this fine "one price buys all" establishment, something I often did long before, when all of us (wife + 2 children) would bicycle here. My bicycling will commence tomorrow early--now I'll have plenty of stored up energy! I highly recommend this to anyone who wants common sense, delicious food which appeals to the vegan, vegetarian, and carnivore. Good eats to you!
