“Great Steak”
Reviewed September 29, 2012

The food is good, particularly the steak. Dining area is a little small and somewhat dated. The patio dining is a nice option during good weather but beware if you do not like cigarette smoke, as smoking is allowed on the patio.

“One of El Paso's best.”
Reviewed September 24, 2012

Large on-site, well lighted, parking area near the UTEP campus. Large very well stocked bar area. Dining area is large and they do not cram tables close together. The wait staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. My wife and I both ordered fish dishes, which were well prepared and very tasty, perhaps somehting one might not expect since El Paso is not near the coast. The next time we are in El Paso, we will definitely be going back to dine here.

“A Really Great Place to Eat in El Paso”
Reviewed August 15, 2012

I loved this place near the UTEP campus from first sight! If I had a Bar/Grill, this is exactly what I would want it to look like. Darkish bar with a bottle display and glasses hanging from the ceiling - maybe cliche but who cares? At a bar, being comfortable is first priority! There was a couple getting all kissy face at the bar, while some football player types drank martinis at a bar table nearby. This is the kind of place that appeals to all kinds of people, starting with the menu.

The large outdoor patio, with its overhead awning, looked very comfortable and we were tempted to sit there if it weren't for the 100 degree heat.

Our waitress was very friendly and attentive, made good suggestions. She brought some bread to help cut the burn from the bacon wrapped jalapenos (excellent), and kept our water filled. The food prices were in line for this type of establishment, but I will say that the drink prices were a little on the high side.

I had the salmon and my husband chose the rubbed tenderloin, with a side of sweet potato fries. Everything was perfect. That's why on game days, during the school year -- it's so packed that you might as well forget about it.
