Better breakfast choices, Cable channels are very poor quality and not a very good selection... There are no PPV options all though they are comercialized by the DTV system...
Checked in very late (10 pm) for an overnight stay. Elevator was creaky. Room was musty. Old style tube TV. I turned down the bed only to find some type of sticky substance on the top bed sheet....pulled it down further and found 2 pieces of some type of bug legs between the top and the bottom sheet.... went down to the desk to ask for new sheets and they moved me to a different room. New room was cleaner and did have a flat screen TV but the A/C unit was very loud making it hard to sleep. Would not stay there again.
Checking in was easy and the staff was nice and accommodating. A man in line before us had issues with his bill and they handled it immediately and fixed the problem.
Room was clean. But had a musty smell to it. Not dirty but just like it needed to be aired out or something. The room had a window seat which was cool.
The noise was bad on 1 night. Kids having a party or something.
Overall it was average. I would stay here again.
The website for the company says within walking distance of restaurants, etc. The place is way out in the desert. There is no convenience within at least 3 miles. There is no coffee maker in room... no iron, no microwave, no mini fridge. So not only can you not walk to conveniences, you have no way to store them if you can get them..... no coffee maker in the room is unheard of. i wake at 5 and have to wait too goes until they make it downstairs.
Staff was friendly and helpful; room was clean and adequate. Major problem at the moment is access and dirt. Construction of a new interchange makes access difficult. Call for directions if you choose this location. Either of the other two Microtels would be better choices at the moment unless location is very important.
