It's not the tallest mountain or the most impressive, but there is something wonderful about being able to see Texas, New Mexico and Mexico from one location. Cute little cacti garden at the bottom, small gift shop at the top. If your lucky you may see some animals!

The wait was long but very worth it. I went the day after Thanksgiving. Here's a hint: they are open on the holidays and said it was very slow. The guides were very helpful in telling about the area during the tram ride and orienting us to the area. the view was absolutely awesome. The price was very reasonable.

This is a must see attraction here in El Paso Texas. Our family made our second trip with our guest from out of town, they as we really injoyed the ride and the wait times to get up the mountain and down were not bad. There is a small gift shop at the top with interesting bits of Frankilin Mountain history. The views of of the area are out of site and we didn't get to see much wildlife but there is a scrap book at the top with pic of local critters. Even if your from El Paso do yourself a favor and fork over the under $10.00 fee its worth the money.

It is a "mandatory" place for locals to take their out-of-town visitors; when I was there at least three groups were a mix of locals and their guests. It is cool to see two countries and two states. Countries USA and Mexico; States Texas, New Mexico and Chihuahua.

Go early (opens at noon) the trip up is 4 minutes, and figure another 15-20 minutes on top, then 4 minutes back down. If you wait too long, you will stand in line longer than going up there. Having said that, depending upon time of year, closer to sunset would yield some nice snap shots.

This is a great way to see the entire city and how it is laid-out. The tram ride is pretty short and a bit expensive, (not a repeat attraction), but every newcomer or visitor should experience the city from this vantage point.
