“Soak in the history”

The Plaza Theatre is a treat, whether you are watching a full screen movie, listening to a concert or enjoying a play. Finally enjoying an internatonal reputation, the Plaza has been beautifully restored. Some seats are better than others as they retained the original narrow seats and configuration. Some locations place you squarely behind the seat in front of you while others are off-set, giving everyone a better view of the stage. Well worth a visit!

“FANTASTIC RENOVATED THEATRE”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 29, 2013

This theater was completely renovated to its old grandeur after years of sitting idle. The old pipe organ was reunited with the plaza. Close to good restaurants in the Union Depot area.

“Nice evening of the EL Paso Symphony and music of ABBA”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 29, 2013

Had never been to the Plaza Theatre downtown El Paso before.
Fairly easy to find even with the downtown being torn up due to the new ball park
The group Arrival was there from Sweden singing music from ABBA with the symphony backing them. Wonderful evening.
Great sound system, and lighting.
For young and old
clothing is any range of what you like to wear
Is handicapped accessible
many choices for parking within a block

Watch for a performance and just go there! You'll not be disappointed in the performance space. Know what you're doing when you want to see a performance.
