“Delightful ambiance and delicious food.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 19, 2013

This beautiful little blue restaurant was such a pleasant find. It has such charm and ambiance, and an extensive, interesting menu. They offer many appealing (and filling) appetizers, soups, steaks, fish and huge salads, all with an Argentinian flair. Service was professional and courteous. The wine list includes Argentinian wine. The restaurant is popular and busy, even midweek. They have live music too, so reserving a table would be advisable.

“A Little Gem”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 28, 2013

This is one of my favorite restaurants in the United States. I enjoy trying local spots that are tucked away. I've been to El Paso three times for business and I've been to El Cuartito Azul each time. Their steaks are some of the best I've had even though they are prepared in such a simple way. They have several kinds of empanadas and all are all absolutely delicious. Their potato salad is also fresh and very different from your standard US picnic potato salad. The service has always been excellent and I recommend this place to anyone going through El Paso. It is a very small restaurant so you could find yourself waiting on a busy evening, but you won't be disappointed.

“Bad Experience!!”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 1, 2013

We were at the restaurant on Friday night for dinner, I understand that it is a busy time, but manager tried us in a way that we decided leave the place, so I can't comment about the food, but definitely not return!!

“great food in a nice little place”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 4, 2013

It's quite a surprise to have great food from such a small place with limited parking and no website (they have a facebook page). I saw a lot of Argentine people there.
- Try empanada, could the best this place could offer and selling those delicious appetizer for $2.50 each (or $8 for 4) is just crazy. I tried three cheese, spinach, ham and cheese and chicken-- all excellent and they could make a big business by selling them alone in places like food carts at NYC (Time Square for example) or Portland where they can easily charge like 5$.
- Traditional salad is also good, authentic and comes with big portion. For us, it is included with small grill (misnomer and it in fact contains 2/12 lbs of steak, stomach/tripes and sausage). That's a huge pile of meat and so just imagine if you order "large grill." My only complaint is steak is a bit tough (not the best cut and may be that's why you are getting a lot of meat), as other TA reviewers mentioned.
- Dessert is so, so and if you don't have a good appetite, you may skip. Again, comes in big portion and try some Argentine dessert like biscuit with ice cream etc.
