We tried Toro Burger Bar on the recommendation of the young man who helped us with our framing order at Hobby Lobby. The outside doesn't say much, but one of the impressive things in the interior decor is a huge chart detailing the different kinds of beer that are made today, which is a great education. They have an excellent selection of beers on tap (about 25 if I remember correctly). The menu is simple: pretty much burgers and sides. You can order a standard burger or build your own from their options. We had a green chili cheese burger with sweet potato fries. We had Young's Chocolate Stout and Stone's Arrogant B***d, two of our favorite beers. The service was excellent, the decor simple. Everything here is casual, and they are prepared for large groups as well as small ones. Even though we probably prefer going to places where they brew their own beer, this is a great place to get started on your beer appreciation journey, and to find ones you already enjoy. The green chile cheeseburger was up there with the best we've had elsewhere, and there are some other intriguing combinations on the menu. We will be going back.
