Very disappointed with their Valentine's Day dinner and service. Food prices were inflated. A minimum of 90 per person for a three course meal with very poor service. Really? Waited 1.5 hrs to receive an entree after wrong food was brought to our table multiple times. Never again.

This is the second time I have been to this restaurant. This place never disappoints. The ambiance is great for a romantic dinner with your significant other. I order the specials every visit, and every visit I have yet to be disappointed.

My husband selected this restaurant for a date night before we attend a show in town. We came in from the south and had a little difficulty finding the restaurant as the signage from the street wasn't very good. When we walked in the door there was no one to greet or seat us, so we waited a couple minutes until the host came downstairs. As for the food in my opinion it was less than impressive the calamari appetizer was fine but for the main course I ordered the lobster and squash ravioli and it tasted as if the ravioli hadn't been strained and the saffron sauce didn't taste at all like saffron it was bland and more like a bechamel gone wrong. The service was adequate but not more than that. Being that I saw many other restaurants in the area I think the next time we are in town we will try one of them.

Easy to find Italian restaurant on Mesa Street within a small shopping strip. Ambience is contemporary with well-spaced tables, loft overlooking area live music area; service is friendly, efficient, unobtrusive. Menu appears very ambitious some 18 pasta dishes, about half are homemade, and almost as many entrees. Maybe it is too ambitious. Our salads were very tired, warm greens on warm dishes. Seafood in Scoglio was overcooked. The risotto was al dente, but gummy with no discernible cheese taste. Beef tenderloin had a mushy texture. Prices are fair, but not worth it considering the quality of the food and its preparation. Mi Piaci was recommended by locals and seemed to have good reviews. Our experience was disappointing.

We love Mi Piaci and have been dining there for many years, beginning at the previous location on Doniphan; we've chosen it for birthday and anniversary celebrations and never been disappointed. The menu has a very wide range of choices, enabling diners to have large or small meals as wished - and we've always enjoyed our selection. Don't overlook the specials, as they are generally truly special. The setting is very attractive, and unlike so many restaurants today you do not have to shout to have a conversation. The owner-chef, Cosimo, will come out to greet the diners, and it won't take long for him to greet you as a friend. Don't miss this!
