This is one of the best restaurants in El Paso. To some people, that might be "damning with faint praise" but I will continue to say- Crave is one of my favorite breakfast/brunch spots anywhere in the world.
WARNING: You THINK you don't want the Nutella waffle. It sounds like too many calories. It seems decadent. You aren't in the mood for something sweet. You are WRONG. Invariably, someone else (your tablemate or, perhaps, someone nearby) will get the Nutella waffle, sending you into spasms of regret. Give in. You will thank me for it. The Nutella waffle is perfect: crispy on the outside, light on the inside, not-too-sweet, and decorated with enough strawberries to let you convince youself that you had a side of "fruit". The nutella waffle is proof that God loves you. I can't rave about it enough.
If, however, you talk yourself out of it (or, better scenario: you talk your boyfriend/spouse/buddy into ordering it and can help yourself off their plate), the Biscuits and Green-Chile Gravy, the Haystack and the monstrously huge Breakfast Burrito are all great options.
The restaurant is TEENY-TINY. If you get there at the wrong time, expect to wait. Also, there is not much parking.
I don't have a lot of experience with lunch/dinner at Crave, except to say that the Chicken and Waffles is fun and well-prepared.
The prices are a little higher than Applebee's-type fare, but the level of quality in preparation and ingredients is on a whole different plane.
This review is for the East Side location but, in my experience, there is not much variation between the two outposts.
