We have enjoyed the Lanterns festival for several years now. There are many beautiful features at this park. I am also glad to be able to help the arts. Wildwood is one of my favorite things to do in Little Rock. It is a very peaceful place. We look forward to returning.

Thank Karen S

“Lumanary Lighting”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 25, 2013

My family and I had a great time at Wildwood Park during the lumanary weekend. We traveled to several different stations lite up by the luminary of the park. Each station represented a country with food and entertainment for all ages. The only complaint was the prices on the food was a little high, and I was a bit confused at to who was benefiting from this event.

Admission to the get in was reasonable ($10 adults $5 children)

We will go again, next year!

“As lovely as Little Rock gets”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 11, 2012

Gardens seem very hard to come by in this area but, Wildwood stepped up to deliver. The park is open to the public and free (except on event days, check their website before visiting). They have several different gardens including your expected azalea garden, as well as the more eclectic Asian-styles. There are beautiful flowers, trees, and views abound. The park includes a nice lake and its gazebo is an idea photo spot. If you're looking for a bit of fresh air and lovely scenery in the city, Wildwood is certainly worth a visit.

(Additionally, the champagne tours which are sometimes offered are also very nice. A knowledgeable staff member or volunteer will guide you around a select area discussing Wildwood's mission and the plants included. There is a fee for these events but, tickets are often available at half price through dailydeals.com or livingsocial.com. Live music is also provided and food is available for purchase.)
