Nicely located in a historic building and in MacArthur Park. Interesting little museum. There was a wonderful exhibition of WW2 photography and a special exhibit to the Willy's Jeep also.

This museum is FREE and so is the parking. It is next to the Arkansas Center for the Arts so you can go to the Art Museum while the military history buff goes to the Military Museum. They have a real 1943 Jeep and the complete history. An exhibit on the Civil War Soldier reunion in the early 1900's. There are some excellent photos of Vietnam and of course an informative Exhibit of MacArthur. Beautiful park setting.

A nice exhibit of relics from the old days, a bit static but really nice to read through the descriptions from displays. Haven't wandered trough the park, was quite big. Nicie memorial of the Korean war.

As a former member of the armed forces (and a history buff) this museum was right up my alley. I really enjoyed seeing the rarely seen photos from WWII and the jeep. The Civil War section was very interesting especially how that history affected Little Rock. I was surprised that the Confederate reunion in 1911 drew so many people. The only connection that Douglas MacArthur has with this museum is that his father was stationed here when it was a citadel and the young general was born here. They had a good amount of information, pictures, and artifacts about the general as well. The fact that there was no cost to tour the museum was the first thing that got my attention but it would be well worth it even if it cost.
