Owner description: It's fun to monkey around in this zoo that features such renowned exhibits as the "Great Ape," "Big Cat Habitat" and "Red Panda."

Came to visit from 100+ miles away with three small boys who were looking forward to riding the zoo train. It's under repair -- the tracks are ripped up, but nothing mentioned on the website or front gate about this. A discount would have been nice and enticed me to spend money here again, which I probably won't do now.

This zoo is good for a couple of hours of fun. The children's farm was good for the two year old. The playground and petting zoo kept him busy for a while. The Africa Cafe was very reasonably priced and the food was good. The gift shop was a little small. Overall I enjoyed the zoo very much!

It seems they have been doing quite a lot to update, and still under construction while we were there. Just disappointing to walk up and look for the animal on the plate and not see anything is SO many cages.

The Little Rock Zoo is pretty good considering how small it is. They really have done a lot of work to update and expand the habitats for their animals. The animals are obviously very well cared for and seem pretty content. This is not an all day zoo for my family, but is good for 3-4 hours pretty easily. My youngest children love the small monkeys. My older children LOVE the huge python in the monkey house, definitely worth visiting. I have been going to this zoo since I was a baby and will continue to bring my children here as well.

If you are used to zoos such as the San Diego Zoo, this zoo won't hold much appeal for you. But it is very good for a small zoo.
