Great walk across the river, and a great view. Neat to watch the dam working beneath you as you look out over the river.

Little Rock has done an awesome job with its pedestrian bridges and walking/biking trails lately (4 ped. bridges in the last decade). And this is the crowning glory. It's the longest pedestrian bridge in the world and Arkansans are definitely getting good use out of it. Pretty soon Little Rock will be completing the gaps in the river trail loop and I'm expecting it will be one of the best in the country.

The walking trails here are fantastic. Finally money spend by county government with federal funding help, put to good use. When walking a a fast pace or jogging or cycling this can be a good workout and the scenery is great.

Experience the longest pedestrian and bicycle bridge in the World, built specifically for that use. Elevated up to 90 feet above the Arkansas River, the Big Dam Bridge connects over 14 miles of scenic riverside trails in the cities of Little Rock and North Little Rock, and assists in the connection of 70,000 acres of various city, county, state and federal park land.
