I love going here it is so relaxing, a place of serenity, and a good place for family and pet friendly as long as you bring a poop bag for your animal please. The view is nice and I also love to take my bike for a ride. Little Rock and North Little Rock did a great job on this place

Up until a couple of years ago, I was fortunate enough to live very close to the Big Dam Bridge and went nearly every day. Now, it is just a sometimes place because I live about 30 minutes away, but I think that every visitor I have had from out of town has been required to go to the bridge with me. I should say that BDB is just one of many great pedestrian bridges in Little Rock/North Little Rock and all part of the river trail system. If you are first-timer, you should take a moment to read the history of the bridge.

if you like the river, bridges, or exercise then you should go out and walk over the big dam bridge; its worth just being able to say you seen it, you walked it, there is nothing else like it

I love the whole River Trail and the Big Dam is just one of the reasons why. The Big Dam does get a little too crowded for my taste sometimes, but I love the weekdays, especially before people start getting off from work and going out to it. Cyclist can cover a lot more ground than walkers around the dam, but if you are on foot, at least try to walk from the Big Dam to Two Rivers Bridge and Two Rivers Park. They are only about a mile apart. Here is an article that might be useful on the subject.
