We stayed here twice in the past month. Wonderful home filled with great pieces of furniture. Our bed and its linens were fabulous as were the robes provided for our comfort. We stayed in the downstairs suite yet had roaming privileges for the living room and the upstairs. Located in a central neigborhood convenient to downtown. Karen and Miriam could not have been more hospitable. Karen prepared a wonderful breakfast which we ate on the sunporch while visiting with Miriam and then Karen joined us. Great people. We felt more like family staying for a visit than weary travelers. These two ladies had thought of everything to make their home welcoming.

Room Tip: Our room was the doorstairs one and was fabulous. Walked through the upstairs ones as well and they...

This was our second visit to Robinwood. My daughter attends school at Saint Louis University and Little Rock is a good stopping point between there and Houston. Karen and her mom are the most gracious of hosts, very friendly, helpful and accommodating! They are dog lovers, so we had lots to talk about! We will definitely be back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We were on our way back home from a trip across the country. This was definitely the most enjoyable and reasonably priced place we stayed. The owners are very friendly and make you feel at home. The home is pet friendly. We stayed upstairs in the Marian Room and had the whole floor to ourselves including a wonderful sun room. There was a refrigerator with complimentary drinks. Snacks, tea and coffee were also available. The home has central air and a ceiling fan in the bedroom. It was very quiet and we slept very well. Very comfortable older home. The breakfast was great. I would go out of my way to stay here again.

This was our second stay here. I didn't even bother searching for other places and nor should you. The rooms are well-appointed and clean, the hospitality is warm and generous (even in the face of our demanding hard boiled eggs for the road at the very last minute!), the location is convenient, and the prices are, well, unimpeachable. Incidentally, do yourself a favour and earmark the Capitol for dinner -- that way you don't even need to put a single thought into your Little Rock stay!

We have stayed at Robinwood three times, and it has been highly satisfactory every time. Our room was always comfortable and quiet, with a big flat-screen TV, a coffee maker, and plenty of outlets for charging battery-powered devices (there's a bedside table and lamp on only one side of the bed, so if you like to read before falling asleep, you might want to bring a battery-powered reading lamp).

There's a pleasant second-floor sunroom for conversation and reading; breakfast is served in the ground-floor sunroom. In the second-floor hallway is a fridge full of soft drinks, a cabinet with a generous supply of snacks, and a coffee maker with a good supply of ground coffee.

Breakfast time and menu are highly adjustable to guests' wishes, and ours have always been excellent. Having the innkeeper converse with us over coffee as we dine is an added pleasure.

It's an 11 hour drive between Austin and Mountain Home, Arkansas, a trip my husband and I make regularly to visit family. This time we decided to break up the trip by overnighting in Little Rock both directions. Although I'm usually not a fan of B&B's, Robinwood looked a cut above most. And it certainly looked better than some similarly priced Little Rock hotels whose room photos frankly gave me the willies. I booked the Marian room for $89, and crossed my fingers.

I called Robinwood on the long drive, to say we would be arriving later than we'd planned. A friendly woman answered the phone and told me my GPS would give better directions than Mapquest, which tends to direct people through a bad part of town. We found Robinwood with little trouble. It's located in an historic district full of beautiful old homes.

I was impressed by Robinwood. The photos on their web site really don't do the place justice. Karen, one of the innkeepers, showed great attention to detail in the design and furnishing of the rooms. Our room was lovely, and at $89, an amazing bargain. It was immaculate, and well decorated with quality reproduction period furnishings. Immediately down the hall was a sun room, where we relaxed with a couple of beers out of their complimentary guest pantry (which also contained snacks, various sodas, and bottled water....a generous gesture.) The overall atmosphere was of great comfort and period style. The floors were a little squeaky, but that's to be expected in an old house. We enjoyed our conversations with the innkeepers, both smart and friendly women.

We slept very well, and went downstairs for breakfast, where we were seated at a table with two other guests. Although this can no doubt sometimes lead to lively exchanges, I'm not a morning person, and found it difficult conversing with strangers over coffee. This small issue wasn't enough to mar a very good stay, though, especially since the breakfast was good. Since we pass through Little Rock once or twice a year, we'll probably become regulars.

Great B&B in a wonderful neighborhood. The owners were extremely attentive to every need and made us feel very welcome. The breakfast was delicious and made with very fresh ingredients. Our room was large and very well decorated. In addition, we had a lovely study and also a sun porch just around the corner from the study.
