We have stayed here several times when we visit Cedar City in the motel on the South Side as there are two different areas across the street from each other. The rooms are very nice and clean, it looks like they may have been recently redecorated, and the king size bed was firm but comfortable. This is definitely a motel, as the rooms face out on a parking lot, but as it was not a busy time, it was quiet We did not utilize it, but there is a nice indoor pool. The breakfast hot items were mediocre, at best, but there was a good selection of other items to choose from.

Stayed two nights in November.
The breakfast was good with lots of choices and the staff in the breakfast area was excellent.
Rooms clean and tastefully decorated.
Have stayed here several times over the past 15 years while visiting southern Utah
Our niece and nephew spent time in the pool and complained about the strong chlorine-the only complaint.

We enjoyed our one night stay in this hotel, this is a small place - Cedar City, but we really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We had a good wander around and found a good place to eat nearby, and a good supermarket opposite to stock up in supplies for our onward journey.

We were on a long trip and just stayed one night. It was two couples and we got the King suite with two bedrooms. Problem with that was there are not doors, just entry arches into the bedrooms. So it would have been helpful to know "bedroom" really means "bedroom area".
Other than that, awesome pool and hot tub area, excellent breakfast options for a freebie, front desk and other employees were above and beyond courteous!! The two buildings, one north and one south is a bit odd, but nothing we "trip advisor travelers" can't handle !!

Room Tip: south building has indoor pool, and the breakfast was hot and awesome. We had a larger suite on the...

Updated rooms are very clean with all the expected amenities, including fridge/freezer, for an excellent price. Looks like it might be a busy convention center at times, but our stay was very quiet. Very courteous and helpful front desk (as we were trying to find a healthy restaurant that is open on Sundays).

This is actually the second Best Western we stayed in during this 10 day road trip of ours; the first one was in Torrey, UT, for approximately the same amount of money.

The "what have you done with my Best Western?" feeling started when I entered the elegantly decorated lobby. Arriving at the room, we were blown away by the huge room (they combined the standard bedroom with a sitting area / living room), feather duvet, and tasteful decorations. The bed was super-comfortable, and outlets -- something that with a mifi, laptop, and two phones we're sensitive about -- were plentiful.

Wifi was, of course, complimentary, and delightfully fast (tested at 1729Kb/668Kb) -- fast enough that we could easily watch Netflix while falling asleep.

There's one minor blemish -- in our room design, the TV was clearly oriented toward being watched while in the 'living room' area of the room, rather than from bed. It was a little harder for both of us to watch the TV from bed than in most standard rooms BECAUSE THE ROOM WAS SO BIG. I mean, seriously, first world hotel problems :).

I'm still stunned by how the heck this could be a Best Western, to be honest. While I saw some other no-name motels in Cedar City advertising a lower rate (I think we saw $32/night somewhere), I really love the value we got from this room at $68/night.

Room Tip: First floor rooms are super-close to parking and were surprisingly quiet.

Thank you for all of the high compliments you have given our hotel! It is so nice to hear our guests say they enjoy the renovation and the updates we have added to our hotel. We are so happy you enjoyed the room and all of the amenities offered!
I'm not sure if you noticed, but we do have the TV on a rotating stand so it can be comfortable watching TV from the bed or the sitting area as we know everyone's preference is different.
We hope you will be back to visit again soon!
