“Expected more from a BW Plus”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 16, 2012

This was our first stay in a BW plus. The room was ok and they made a crab out of the towels that was cute. The room had really bad lighting and was very dark. The AC unit was extremely loud. Good breakfast. Staff was very nice.

I usually don't bother to write reviews on hotels unless they are really bad. This one is a jewel, especially for the price. My husband and I stayed one night in a room with a king while grandma watched the kids. It was our mini-getaway for his birthday. We are EXTREMELY PICKY when it comes to hotel rooms, and usually spend that extra $$ just to know we can relax in comfort. This is the BEST Best Western I've ever stayed at. Very clean, amenities were surprising, breakfast was more than suitable (eggs, potatoes, fruit, bagels, coffee brewing 24/7). Room was immaculate and I felt comfortable walking barefoot on the carpet (something I rarely do in hotels with lower star ratings). The staff is nice, mostly young and "just need a job" type of people but still helpful. The location is within walking distance to pretty much anything you need (grocery, dining, mini mart etc). Bed was SUPER comfy and CLEAN! We've never been more satisfied with a hotel in this price range. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

We are so happy we were able to "exceeded your hotel standards" and you were able to have an enjoyable mini-getaway for your husband's birthday! We are consistently trying to improve and become better so all of our guests can be as comfortable and relaxed as the both of you! We hope you will come back and visit us again soon! For your next mini-getaway, maybe try our Whirl Pool Suite as it is a bit larger and more romantic than a our standard king room! See you again soon!

We stayed 2 nights in the Best Western Plus Town & Country Inn in Cedar City. I had called the night before our arrival (spur of the moment trip) and they were able to give us the room we wanted - King room with a jetted tub. We stayed on Oct 10th and 11th, leaving on the 12th.

A thing that threw us at first, when we arrived, was that there is part of the hotel on one side of the street and part on another. Fortunately you can check in at either lobby and they will let you know just which building you need to go to. The staff at both buildings was very friendly and very helpful.

The room was spacious, plenty of space on both sides of the bed, and around the small sofa and chair. There was also plenty of room around the jetted tub which was in the main room. The bathroom was also quite spacious with a large shower and a large counter around the sink. When we first came into the room, we first noticed the fresh smell and that the room was very clean and comfortable feeling.

We found the room to be very quiet and pleasant to stay in. The jetted tub, of course, was a wonderfully relaxing treat for us. The first night we stayed was after a long drive up though the Grand Staircase - Escalante Natl. Monument - much of which was over rough, windy dirt roads. That drive left us feeling pretty tired, so basking in the tub was wonderful. The bed was very comfortable and made for a great night's sleep. As I said, the room was also very quiet ... although our room faced Main Street, we weren't bothered by traffic noise, nor did we have noise from other rooms.

This hotel is well worth the price and I highly recommend it. Wonderful staff and it's a great place to stay. We would definitely stay again.

Room Tip: King room with jetted tub is fabulous! Great for a relaxing night after long traveling or sightseein...

We came in for a single night after being in Brian Head checking out the Fall color changes in the trees all day. This was during the Shakespearean Festival & the two young ladies @ the front desk were wise to suggest we take a room upstairs since there were numerous teenagers staying here. It was very quiet until they arrived back at the end of their day at which point they were like a herd of cattle. Once they got settled in their rooms it was very peaceful & quiet again. The recommendation for dinner across the street @ Depot Grill was delicious & offered a 15% discount to guests of Best Western. The breakfast buffet was okay but not great because the little room was filled to capacity with the festival teens so we couldn't even get our toast in the toaster. All this was taken into consideration by us and we were fine with our stay anyway. I will return & stay here again because the beds were very comfortable, the room was clean & the employees were very helpful & courteous. You won't be dissapointed with this well run Inn.

Room Tip: I'd pick upstairs again for more quiet night.

Thank you for taking all things into consideration and understanding how the High School Shakespeare Competition brings in so many kids from all over the Western United States, which makes things not only a bit busy here at the hotel but all of the hotels and restaurants in town. We are so happy our staff was able to assist you with all of your needs and provide you with an enjoyable stay even though there were so many students visiting! We are looking forward to your next visit!

We found this hotel to be a great value. We stayed there one night on a Western US road trip and it was a welcome stop along the way. The check-in was welcoming and staff helpful with good suggestions and directions for dinner. Our room was large, clean, and comfortable. It was on the first floor and had very easy access which was appreciated with all the things we needed to bring in from the car. Although we didn't use it during our stay, there was a refrigerator and microwave in the room. The wifi was free, no password required, and it worked great. I found the breakfast to be pretty average. We would definitely stay here again because it was a great price for a nice room.

Room Tip: Ask for a ground floor room if you have lots of luggage. The ground floor rooms offer great, easy ac...

I stayed at this hotel for one night so I could attend a play at the Shakespeare Festival. It is close enough that you can walk there, which I did. The room was nice, and so was the free breakfast the next morning. I got a good night's sleep before heading for home.

We arrived at the part on the North side late at night and this was just what we needed. A friendly welcome with sensible tips and a good recommendation on where to eat (the Depot - which is attached but serving very good food at realistic/proportionate prices).
The room was perfectly clean and benefitted from a door on the inside corridor and also to the outside corridor. The room was a good size and there was no noise.
We didn't use either of the pools or take breakfast.
No fuss, just a spacious, clean room at a sensible price with helpful front desk team (they quickly found out / let me borrow glass polish and clean cloths to clean the inside of my windscreen as Dollar didn't before I collected our hire car).
