“Base Hotel for Visit to National Parks”
Reviewed September 6, 2012

First trip to Cedar City. Very happy from initial reservations to check-in, phone directions, front desk personnel, service, maid service, etc. Room was very comfortable, TV and A/C were perfect and it was very relaxing at the end of long days. Everything was very 'fresh' and clean! Breakfast was good! Eating area spacious, comfortable and scenic. Other restaurants all around hotel. Visited Zion and Bryce during our 4-day stay. Most enjoyable BW we've ever stayed at! As seniors, we HIGHLY recommend this great Inn.

We are so happy you had an enjoyable stay while visiting the National Parks! We have many guests who like to us our hotel as a "base hotel" while visiting the many National Parks close by because of our central location to them. We are so glad the room, service , and amenities were also perfect for your needs. Thank you for recommending our hotel to everyone! We look forward to your next visit!

The hotel room was clean and comfortable and located close to the pool. TV was great and WiFi also. We were right beside a great restaurant called The Depot. We visited Zion National park and Bryce National park. Definitely a great place to ride. We will be going back and stay at this same hotel again. All personnel were very friendly and helpful.

Room Tip: Ask for close to pool ground level to park bikes in front of room. Pool was cold maybe 74 degrees...

We have always stayed here when visiting Cedar City....but haven't been in about 5 years. They have spend quite a bit and updated this hotel very nicely....new linens, paint, room decor...huge fluffy towels...really lovely...didn't get a chance to go to breakfast but am sure it was fine and typical of the last visits we've had. At the time we stayed there was a huge group of touring motorcycle riders all riding Harleys....we were worried about the noise but didn't hear a peep when they started up in the a.m.....nice soundproofing!

Alan at the check-in anticipated all of our needs.
Told us of everything happening, recommended all the great places to eat, and took good care of us. He went above and beyond all expectations.
The placement of the air conditioner units, made it tricky to keep the room at an optimal temperature, the living room was freezing, while the bedroom was still warm.
The towels were stiff and sandpaper-like.
BUT, those things are SMALL compared to the GREAT service and OVERALL happiness the staff provides!!!

Room Tip: get the rooms left of the Sizzler... Alan works the desk over there, and they have Pillow-Top mattre...

We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of this hotel. Everything has been updated with fresh paint, new bedding etc. Great place to stay for the Shakespeare plays. Easy walk to the college and restaurants.

I've been going to Cedar City for the Shakespeare Festival for 15 years & have tried several places in town (motels & B&B's), but I always return to the Town & Country Inn. The location is great, I get off at the second Cedar exit (going N), park at the Town & Country, then never move my vehicle until I leave to go home. Very easy to walk everywhere, I travel alone (female) and have no issues with walking back along main street after the evening shows, actually quite a lovely, quiet stroll to top off the evening.

The grocery store across the street comes in handy since the room has a fridge & microwave, although there's several nice dining options nearby. The Wifi, while not the most speedy at times, is free & reliable.

The staff is amazing! So friendly! The front desk folks are always willing to chat when you checkin/out or stop by on the way home from the shows! I've been lucky to have my room upgraded a few times too!

The Housekeeping is the best! The rooms are spotlessly clean & this year I loved the added touch of a towel animal in my room! The extra touches are what make this a great stay! Also since I tend to sleep in and so often in other places, if you still have the "do not disturb" sign up when they stop by it, you are totally out of luck. This year at the Town & Country, they had been working in my hall and were past my room, but when I exited to start my day, the housekeeping lady came out of another room, and asked if my room was ready for her to service, all with such a lovely smile on her face! It certainly made me feel welcome!

I would highly recommend staying at the BW Town & Country anytime you are visiting the lovely town of Cedar City!

This hotel is very well kept and has a great atmosphere. My husband and I stayed here in the the honeymoon suite on our way to Vegas for our honeymoon. We absolutely loved the hotel and the room. The bed was wonderful (once we got home we actually called the hotel to find out what beds they have, because my husband wanted one for our room. They also said that they had the same beds in all the rooms not only in the honeymoon suite) and with the large Jacuzzi in the room it was very relaxing. It was also nice to have a fridge and microwave. The continental breakfast was also nice to have in the morning we had our choices from cereal and doughnuts to waffles, eggs, sausage and fruit. To put into comparison when we got to Vegas my husband said that we should cut our honeymoon short there and go back to the suite at the Best Western, not only for the amazing room but the great service.
