This is a new, very clean, modern hotel. The pool area was very well maintained and the beds are comfy. They honored the request we'd put in the reservation for a top floor room and extra pillows. However, we were able to clearly hear our neighbors laughing, talking and screaming for 40 minutes starting at around 10:30. At 11:10 (as I was convinced that they didn't know how loud they were being, nor did they intend to stop) I called the front desk. Within 5 minutes we heard their phone ring and the noise stopped. It was wonderful to have our problem taken care of so quickly and efficently! The next morning we were told that breakfast started at 7:00. We needed to leave at 7:30, so we were very grateful that we'd be able to eat before we left. However, it appeared that the breakfast attendant started putting things out at about 6:55. The hot items (oatmeal, eggs and sausage) were not ready until about 20 after. However they did have a selection of pastries, bread items and two waffle batters (blueberry and regular). Overall it was a 4 star stay, missing the 5th due to noise and lateness of breakfast.

This is a great place to stay whether for an extended period or just a few days. Don't think there could be a better place. Only problem is that some of the front desk clerks could use a little more training in administrative details but they were very polite and did try hard. I highly recommend this property.

We flew into Las Vegas, got our rental car, and drove along Interstate15 for about three hours to reach Cedar City. The drive was awe inspiring (our fist time in this part of the country), and upon reaching our hotel we were immediately happy with our choice. Check-in was facilitated by a very friendly and helpful manager, who was quick to give us her recommendations for her favorite nearby restaurants (which turned out to be terrific). The lobby, the spacious lounge area (also used for morning breakfast) were very nice and comfortable. Our room was easy to access on the third floor via the lobby elevator, and was laid out in an outstanding manner. There was a sitting area with a large couch, two tables, a work desk, and a kitchenette. The sleeping area had two queen size beds, and two closets along with bureaus for clothing. A large bathroom, with a dressing area outside the tub/shower/toilet room, made for uncrowded washing up. There was also a good sized flat screen tv that could be swiveled for watching in either the sleeping area, or in the sitting area. We liked that a lot. There is an indoor pool that was very popular, and a good sized fitness room, both on the main floor. The included breakfast was excellent. The Springhill is located quite close to Cedar City, and although we only stayed for the one night we would make this our destination of choice on future visits to the area. By the way, the hotel is an easy day trip to Bryce Canyon. A fantastic National Park.

We decided to take a family road trip and Cedar City was one of our stops. The sightseeing in Bryce Canyon and Zion was amzing, but after a long day of hiking, we came back to a not-so-amazing hotel.

I almost thought the walls were made of paper. It was EXTREMELY noisy at night, and we could hear our obnoxious next-door neighbors slamming the doors repetitively throughout the night. I could hear their television as well. It was hard to sleep, and with hiking still to come, sleep was important. I definitely had a lack of it, however, as the hotel was very noisy. If you're looking for a quiet, peaceful hotel, go somewhere else!

To make matters worse, the hallways literally smelled like sewage. I covered my nose and mouth every time we walked to and from our room. It was disgusting. We will never stay at another SpringHill Suites unless it is between that and the street.

This property is clean and convenient for attending Shakespeare festival and outdoor recreation areas. One of the few hotels that can accomodate a family of five unless you look into a condo or other rental properties that are further out of the city. May not be quite as well kept as a few of the other SpringHill Suites. Breakfast is adequate.

The first impression you get when you check in here is of a very trendy, modern, and clean hotel. The decor is more contemporary than I personally like, but it looks nice and fresh.

However, the studio suite that we had was small and awkwardly arranged. The television was located between the living area and sleeping area and it was a bit tight walking through there. In addition, the beds were very close to the walls. The toilet was also located too close to the tub in the bathroom.

In addition, the swimming pool was a bit of a disappointment. It is tiny and the water was murky. You really can't swim in it due to the size, and we didn't want to when we saw how murky it was.

Breakfast is free here, but I was surprised at both the lack of variety and lack of freshness/quality. Other chains in this price range have better breakfasts.

Finally, this is a decent place to stay. However, the Holiday Inn Express next door has bigger rooms, a bigger and nicer swimming pool, and much better breakfasts. It also has much more traditional decor. It's a better option in Cedar City.
