Took a group of senior adults here for two nights while on a tour of the region. This is a very nice, newer hotel. Basic rooms, but clean and comfortable. Above average breakfast included with stay. Convenient to I-15.

Arrived in the evening on a hot day. Waited a long time to check in because the front desk was unbelievably slow in checking in others who were in line before us. When finally got our turn, the "suite" (no bargain at $149) turned out to be extremely hot and yucky, looking out over a very unpalatable landscape, with no effort by staff to turn on the a/c before we arrived, and with an extremely noisy person in the room next door (though it might be the paper thin walls) It looked like the room had not been cleaned well since the last occupants. Attempts to shift from the subpar suite to two adjoining rooms was fruitless, as the single front desk attendant was overloaded and had no clue as to what the inventory was (even though the hotel seemed almost empty). Attempts to talk to the manager were unsuccessful because he didn't answer his phone when the front desk called (apparently he didn't want to be associated with this place either). Very disappointing. This was my first and most likely last experience with Comfort Inn. Eventually went to Hampton Inn and while slightly more costly found it to be infinitely superior in every way, with excellent staff, clean and comfortable and cool rooms and a good stay.

My daughter and I stayed here for 2 nights. I had tried to book at other hotels in the area but everywhere was sold out due to the local university's commencement exercises. So I read the reviews and took a chance a was happy I did.

Check in was easy and quick and the staff were very nice. I believe I was checked in by the owner and he explained all the amenities of the hotel and he was just great.

We had a king suite on the ground floor which was all that was available. I hate being on the ground floor, but the man at the desk put me at the end of the hallway and it wasn't noisy at all. The room was nice and large, but I didn't really care for the partition between the bed and the living area. It made things a little awkward. The room was very clean though and the bathroom was nicely appointed. The free WiFi worked perfectly. Housekeeping cleaned the room nicely, but didn't make the bed which was odd. Overall the room was very nice. There was a microwave, fridge, and coffee maker. There was also a large sofa, coffee table, and desk.

The breakfast was the best I have had of the 3 hotels I have stayed at in Cedar City. Unlike some of the other hotels, the breakfast area was large and they replenished items when they ran out. The food was very good with a large selection of pastries, eggs, breakfast meats, cereals, fruit, etc. The hotel was full, but they still set out plenty of food and they have a large serving area so it was easy to get anything you wanted.

The hotel has a wonderful pool area which was heavily used by the families staying there. We were there on a very busy weekend and the hotel was full, but it didn't feel crowded. I did pay a premium price though.

I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

This hotel is absolutely awesome. Grant it, its only been open about two years but the property decor is fantastic compared to most hotels in this class. They have a full breakfast consisting of scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage. Cereal, breads, fruit and plenty of juices and milk.

We had the King Suite with the king bed with a whirlpool bath tub ( Jazcuzzi ) with a flat screen TV and the decor in the room was good too again for a hotel in this class.

We only paid $84.15 plus tax with our AAA membership. Location is in a quiet section of Cedar City and I definetly will be staying at this hotel again when in the area and will recommend also.

Hotel is literally off Interstate 15 and all your fast food and casual dining is in the area along with a Jiffy Lube should you need an oil change and other basic car maintenace done. Walmart which has everything acourse is right across the freeway.

Did I say the breakfast was to die for ? If you have a family you will literally save $$$ comparable to eating at say a Denny's and getting breakfast with eggs, bacon, sausage, toast and orange juice.

Great place !

I'm not adding photos because the hotel's provided photos are exact replica of their property and rooms.

My family and I stayed at the Comfort Inn & Suites in Cedar City over Thanksgiving and had an outstanding time. We had just been in Las Vegas prior, and our rooms here in Cedar City were so much better kept and had everything we needed!

They did an excellent job accommodating my grandmother in a Handicap-Accessible room, which greatly eased our stay.

The pool and spa were clean and well kept. I couldn't figure out how to turn on the lights in the pool area, but a quick trip to the front desk fixed my concern immediately!

The front-desk staff, Sable, was friendly and courteous, and we got an excellent rate for our stay.

The property looks grand, and the lobby is reminiscent of a castle.

Thanks for an excellent Thanksgiving week!

I stayed at this hotel with my family. We had an excellent experience during our stay. This hotel just opened few months ago and is decorated very tastefully. Our room was flawless. Hotel staff is experienced and friendly and they went out of their way to please us and made our stay very comfortable by attending to our needs and gave us plenty of information for Cedar City and the surrounding attractions. Nice indoor pool/spa, exercise room with a massage chair, free internet in the lobby, morning newspaper. Morning breakfast was excellent. At this hotel you can expect great service with smile and not to mention clean comfortable room. Overall, we enjoyed this reasonably priced hotel very well. We will return to this hotel and recommend to our friends in a heartbeat!

Dear AvidTraveler25,

Wow, thank you for the review, and the kind words. We even though are a few years older, have kept up the hotel, and as a matter of fact, now have beds that would be just as well placed in a world class resort. So we would like to invite you back to come and make new memories in southern Utah, and have a great stay while doing that.

We arrived for a single night stay late in the afternoon, having driven a considerable distance across Utah. We were tired, very dusty and unkempt from hiking. We were greeted with an amazing smile and with such courtesy and helpfulness at check-in, we could have been from Head Office! All the tips on dining options and local facilities were spot on, too. At check-out a different member of staff was equally pleasant.
The hotel is clearly quite new. Everything we tried was in good working order, still fresh and clean. The (probably standard) room we were given was a good size and very clean, the bed was large, very comfortable and had decent linens. There was a fridge in the room, a nice bonus, and all the bathroom ware worked just fine.
Having seen the sign for the new, indoor swimming pool, after a quick shower, I decided to try it out. It was a comfortable temperature and the dehumifier system seemed to work very well - no steamed up windows. The small spa tub was also fine. My only, minor, complaint about the pool was the tiny and seemingly rather old towels provided - and I got the last one! The small gym had an very adequate selection of (untested) machines, and a water cooler.
The least exciting thing about the hotel is it's aspect, our view was towards the Interstate and traffic lights, beyond the parking lot. But, hey, this a non-fancy chain hotel, conveniently located for I-15. Fortunately, the room was sufficiently well sound-proofed that we never heard any traffic and the black-out drapes kept the view away, too.
If only all chain hotels at this level and price were this good.
