This was our 1st trip to the US. We had been told not to expect huge rooms in New York. We have stayed in more luxurious rooms but The Roosevelt is very impressive upon entry, lobby area is fabulous and evokes grandeur of times gone by. Beautiful. The rooms are small, but were clean. Who needs a great big space in which to sleep when you are in New York? There is so much more to see than the inside of a hotel room. We probably should have had a larger room as there were two adults and two teenagers, but we coped just fine, even with all of our shopping. Bathrooms are dated but again who spends hours in them. We had a wonderful experience and were looked after very well. I would stay here again as the location to the sights of the city is fabulous and compensates for the "cosy" rooms, everywhere in the city is accessible. Loved New York and can't wait to go again soon
