My husband and I spent a wonderful weekend in NYC at Hotel Giraffe. They offer a lovely continental breakfast and wine and cheese reception daily. The rooms are updated, comfortable and clean. Great location in midtown. Walk to many great restaurants and shops. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Great value. Highly recommend.

This is a low-key great hotel. The rooms are very nice, and having doors that open to a small balcony is a rare find in Manhattan. Top notch service and quality breakfast in the lobby. Highly recommended.

Another lovely 3 night stay at the Giraffe. Beautiful room in on upper flower; quiet and spacious. Everything I need is in the room (great bath products, TV, lovely blanket/shawl, tons of pillows, robe, umbrella, comfort everywhere), the hotel (great breakfast available for hours every morning, lovely service from the professional women who serve and try the hardest to accomodate every desire, very nice lobb to enjoy all day if wanted, a cocktail hour that goes for for 3 hours, choclotate bars and turn down service. No matter where I need to be in NYC, I stay at The Giraffe and commute - its worth the longest car ride to come back to this elegant, peaceful spot.

The Hotel Giraffe may have an odd name, but it not an odd hotel. It is well situated-close to excellent transportation routes, great culture, restaurants and shopping. The rooms and common areas are nicely appointed. The complimentary breakfast and happy hour are a nice touch. The staff was quite helpful and friendly. The price point was terrific, for a Manhattan hotel. Why did I not give this five stars? Minor stuff-the carpeting and some of the fixtures are a little worn, I suspect from a lot of use. I will definitely consider staying here again.

Super friendly and accommodating staff, nice wine and cheese happy hour, very reasonable breakfast.
Gabriela is top notch! The location is away from touristy Midtown yet provides convenient access to most anywhere.

Room tip: Request a balcony room facing Park Avenue.
